 Inle Lake Wildlife Sanctuary is an inland wetland located in southern Shan State. It is the second largest inland lake in Myanmar with an area of ​​579,755 hectares. Rare or unique, almost natural wetland. They make a living by growing fruits in the lake by floating island system.


 Inle Lake is a popular destination for wintering birds. Important Bird and Biodiversity Area (IBA) ASEAN Heritage Park It is also a Biosphere Reserve designated by UNESCO. Inle Lake Wildlife Sanctuary was designated the 5th Ramsar Site of Myanmar in 2018 by the Ramsar Convention.


 Inle Lake Wildlife Sanctuary is home to more than 350 species of birds, including nearly 100 species of waterfowl.
